About

This call is for an outdoor exhibition opportunity on the University of Pittsburgh campus.

“Don’t Look Away: Because Mattering is the Minimum” is an exhibition that will take place on the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Campus and will travel to other Pitt campuses. Open to artists from Southwestern Pennsylvania and Pitt students, faculty, staff, and alumni, this exhibition asks the question “what does Black Lives Matter mean to you”?

The exhibition will consist of approximately 30 reproductions of artists’ original works onto mesh canvases (8′ x 5′) and short video digital displays, all to be displayed outside in public areas.

Works will be selected by a committee of Pitt representatives and community  members from local Black arts organizations.
