Write the Rivers, South Side

August 10, 2022 @ 7:00 pm8:30 pm

$5

Interested in exploring Pittsburgh’s rivers this summer? Sometimes they seem to hide in plain sight. We plan to think, write, and walk beside a few. In this guided walk-and-write tour you’ll get outside, explore city neighborhoods, and write creatively.

Writer Sherrie Flick will lead this guided hour-and-a-half writing and walking tour that uses the urban environment and rippling water for inspiration. This session will focus on a stretch of the Monongahela River and the South Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh. No experience necessary—just bring your pen, paper, curiosity, and walking shoes.
