About the Artist
I am an interdisciplinary artist. My work is about the discovery and/or identity, representation, and struggle of Blackness. Blackness meaning the physical, mental, and emotional identity of the black body. Investigation of past, present, and the trends of the future.
The main practice of my work lives in the realm of printmaking: screen printing, linocut, and relief. Printmaking for me serves as a language for research and discovery; as the practice is so rich with process that it lends itself perfectly to experimentation, but also even more so to the accessibility of the experience.

“Public art is often a home for my practice because it allows for an authentic examination of the work, and through the public realm, a way to reach a more dynamic audience.”
